The Grand Canyon: North Rim
Well, the Grand Canyon is certainly impressive. The canyon is massive, an echoing void in the earth that constantly forces air – almost silently – from its depths. The Cape Royal Road was closed due to some emergency repairs but I got plenty of canyon views to satisfy me until I get to the south rim, plus I explored a bit more of the surrounding forest with its beautiful aspens and stately conifers.

On the way out of the park I took a short trail at Saddle Point to admire the view… and those lovely aspens I’ve become so fond of.

I’ve been to the south rim a couple of times but never the north rim. Looks beautiful…..enjoy 🙂
It was very lovely, thanks Ingrid. I hope to make it to the South Rim soon!
