The Florida Keys, Part 1: The Beaches

I decided to keep going south next and, after overnighting south of Miami, I ultimately choose to go to the Keys. Let’s just say, wow. Eighty-five degrees, warm sun, picture-perfect beaches, clear waters, stunning sunsets and sunrises… it was like the Caribbean. I admit I spent many, many hours lounging on the beach reading and nothing else. But I also did a fair amount of walking around, and enjoyed the spectacular sunrises and sunsets as well.
