Visiting Friends in El Paso, Part 2: Hiking the Ron Coleman Trail at McKelligon Canyon
Chrissy also brought us to Franklin Mountains State Park to hike McKelligon Canyon, a steep hike up the canyon walls that offers spectacular views of El Paso and the surrounding countryside. About halfway up there is a cave that seems to be a popular destination though we continued our scramble to the canyon rim for the views. Like everything we did: so much fun. And the views were really beautiful, at least to me, a confirmed lover of the high desert landscape.
