WWOOFing Part 9: Finishing up the Homestead

As of a couple weeks ago my WWOOF hosts have moved into their new homestead in Jasper, Tennessee. The last few things I was involved with prior to moving in included finishing the installation of the cork flooring, switching out wall outlet receptacles for childproof ones, and helping with mounting ceiling fans. Now that they’ve moved in we’re working on preparing for gardens and other projects but these photos are from the last of the interior projects prior to moving in.

Their new property in Jasper abuts a farm with spectacular views of the Cumberland Plateau and includes perfect sunset views. They also have a beautiful dogwood tree along the path to the barn that’s been flowering for over a week.
