Virgin River Falls Park, Utah
After walking around the west rim of the Virgin River Tom and Terry had one more brief stop in mind on the way to our canyon hike. Located just off the road that leads to the trail head is Virgin Falls Park, a small-ish picnic/swimming/recreation park that’s incredibly scenic. This stretch of the Virgin River is a few miles upstream of the dam pictured in my last post, before is enters the deep canyon. I ran around here for a half hour or so taking pictures of the sandstone and the mesa, delighted (and grinning like a crazy person) by the beauty concentrated in such a small area.

Beautiful!!
Thank you!
Oh how I would love to play in that river! I love all of your photos Meghan, and thank you for all the recent ‘likes’!
Thank you, I’m happy you enjoy them. As for the likes, I have limited internet access when I’m traveling sometimes so I often have to “catch up” with blog reading, hence the occasional deluge on your feed. I very much enjoy your blog though for sure and I look forward to reading more!
