Hi, I’m Meghan.
In June 2013 I left my job, packed up my car, and started my travels across the country. I’ve done a lot of hiking and volunteering, walked on a bunch of beaches, ascended a slew of mountains, and stopped to explore whatever has struck my fancy along the way. I met my husband Tom in 2014 and we we now live with our dog Allie (and before that, Abby) in the mountains of New Mexico. When we aren’t there we also travel around North America in our RV building affordable houses with Habitat for Humanity, hiking, and sampling local breweries. We’re both passionate about helping people build their own secure futures and giving families opportunities to live better lives.

I was searching around for hiking blogs and am happy to have discovered yours. You’ve done some great hikes and been to many of the parks that are high on my list (particularly US Southwest)…oh, and Glacier too, which is closer to where I live. Great blog. I look forward to exploring.
